Beach House

Remember the old house
on the beach?
Waves crashing
moon glowing
you showing
off to me.

The window was busted
we crawled in
sand dusted
and encrusted
artifacts lost by
memories.

It twinkled like moon light
does on snow.
You glimmered
I shimmered
we danced in
the galaxy.

I played the piano,
with my mittens on.
I smiled
you cried while
I played you your
lullaby.

We stayed in that old house
all night long
I kissed you
you kissed too
we didn't
want to leave.

Never leave.
